Phase I Development
In early 2007, Phase One will commence. The groundwork and infrastructure will be established for this new environmentally sensitive community. Roads and safety features will be enhanced, housing neighborhoods will be placed in clusters, and the village area will be planned. The village, a small town with characteristics of quaint, but vibrant, old communities and narrow pedestrian friendly streets, will be laid out. Most residents and guests will be able to walk to the village for dinning, shopping or services. avidpromedical.com
Mountain ski runs will be contoured out of the perfectly maintained forest. Lifts will be built and the upper mountain will start taking shape. A hotel, retail space, and food service outlets will be developed in addition to parks and open space plans. Phase One provides for wildlife and wetlands preserves. These will be permanent habitats for local wildlife and plants that survive and thrive within the confines of the resort. To insure their protection and survival, these areas will have special status in the resort and will be cared for by a permanent conservatory foundation. These sanctuaries will provide for added tranquility at Dyer Mountain and provide areas for bird watching and other passive natural pastimes.
Lastly, the first of two magnificent golf courses will be built. These courses will be cradled at the foot of Dyer Mountain and will wind through the conifer forest and meadows near the wildlife sanctuaries. The courses will have views of Walker Lake and the surrounding resort, and will be designed with the highest regard for the land on which they sit. Our philosophy is to use the natural beauty of the land to make the golf experience unique. The courses will have state-of-the-art clubhouses, pro shops, and practice facilities that will make Dyer Mountain a golfer's dream.
